The neighbourhood of Ue Datu

Tentena is located between the shores of Lake Poso on the one hand and on the brink of the jungle on the other. You can go for a walk through this magnificent jungle, where hornbills still habitat. Tentena is within walking distance of our holiday resort, and the local market (Pasar) of Tentena is open every day. In Tentena you can choose from a wide range of excursions. For instance, you could visit the rapids of Sulewana, the twelve-stepped waterfall Wera Salopa and the Latea-caves. Besides, Tentena is the starting point concerning the hiking tours to Morowali-reserve, Bada-valley and Lore Lindu National Park.

Sulewana rapids

The aggressive rapids of Sulewana, which are called the most impressive rapids of entire South-east Asia. The Sulewana-rapids are located 15 kilometres north of Tentena.
